I was gonna cop the same one as you but then I quit school to be a vagabond. Now that I'm back It's on, but I can't decide if I should get it online or at williams sonoma or something. FUCK it's true the wuhstoff culinar santoku is by far my favorite knife i have. through school i got a mesrmiester set but the chefs knife that came with it is flimsy and doesn't hold an edge for shit. the bread knife and boning knife are pretty legit though. i'm lookin at copping a new chefs knife here pretty soon when i can afford it. there's a blade smith around here that makes amazing knives but he's got a 2 year waiting list and they cost about a grand. but they're fucking beautiful knives. hes one of the top blade smiths in the nation. one of these days i will have one of his knives.
