penmanship
Penmanship you mentioned rent free, are you squatting? That place looks like a home improvement nightmare. It's kind of squatting. We (me and another snowmaker) have been fixing up the place in return for a free place to stay for the season. There's two other guys who stay there through their week and have homes off hill just to avoid the commute while working nights. there's around 15 other cabins around the mountain which are in much better states, and are rented out on a three year lease with employees here. The mountain will order anything we need for big fixes within reason and we just take stuff from other jobs to make it work. for example I had to buy the fixtures and plumbing parts for the shower, but then have free infinite lengths of pipes from the plumbing dept here and the glass and base were just laying in another cabin that's not being used. While we're making snow we don't do much, and then we're gone once the season's over, so it's pretty much just two guys working on it three months of the year max in our spare time. NightmareOnElmStreet
roomates? yours? rent to own? either way that looks like my kinda spot. if i ever do have one there will most definetly be more earth tones involved in the wall paints. those or a lot of gray. IHATEU
those are french doors... common in houses from the late 1800s and early 1900s... i like your house, it looks cozy but not lived in. like almost set up for the photos... all you need is some nice worn leather couches (get rid of them patterned ones, though they look good with oriental rugs)and a vintage foot locker or teathered american flag

publicenemyno.3
yeah, fucked up right? it's the one of the weird things about the apartment that we'd like to change. we do a ton of cooking so it's kinda gross to think about what gets spilled in there on the daily. as i understand it, laminate tile isn't too pricey so we might spring for that at tax time if it's cool with the owners. MrChupacabra
A few weeks ago, I finally got around to getting some pictures of the place i've been at for about 8 months now. I decided to step up my living game when I realized the vast majority of my time not at work is spent in the comfort of wherever I'm living. Most of the artwork and all of the nice hardwood furniture courtesy of my late grandparents. Fisheye apartment tour. View from the "front door". there is another door to the exact same hallway 10 or 12 feet down the hall to the left, due to some fire code where there has to be at least 2 doors out of any apartment. "Scott yo! -Bob Saget" 2 way closet through to the living room. Thanks, bloodfart. Living room. Guest room/office/whatever to the left. It goes unused unless someone is staying here or I need to use my printer/scanner. Overly jewish original oil paintings. Official. Another from the same artist.
