They were given the girlfriends address and whoever gave it to them knew a guy who looked like Phil lived there. It was a setup to get them to drop their guard, 2 people could have done that Paulie or Patsy. No hit was ordered on Paulie ( maybe because he is not a boss) and Patsy escaped the Silvio shooting unharmed and it looked like they never aimed at him until he began to run. One of them is working for Phil, it has to be. Outstanding observation. If they don't touch up on this, the writers made a huge mistake. It doesn't necessarily have to be Patsy or Paulie's call but it certainly looks as if one of em is behind it. gregory hines Posted June 4, 2007 Share Posted June 4, 2007 Tonys made observations about how sad paulies life is and maybe thats why he's so miserable. no wife and kids. dude is just cold as ice, does dirt, comes home and lifts weight and watches tv. plus didnt he repeat some shit about that dudes wife to him and start mad drama over it once already? he did have a real shit attitude about the hit on phil leotardo. everyone elses reaction was more like "ok, lets do it" except for him. he does seem real self centered. 2blazzed observations seem pretty on point too. As for Paulie gettin the shitty face when Tone put the hit out on Leotardo, if you remember, Paulie was the one who ratted about Joe Pants' joke about "the 100 lb mole on Ginny Sack's ass" to the New York crew, and was sayin how Johnny Sack was the only one who called him (when Paulie was in jail, it was the season Joey Pants' got choked out by Tony).
