so in less than 60 minutes you expect to find someone on 12 oz, meet up with 'em, buy the tickets and still make it to the show?

kudos for you if you pull off that mission dude that's a toughie.

I'm perplexed that you thought Jedi Mind Tricks, the quintessential white boy hip-hop group, wouldn't sell out in BOSTON.

Haha...last time we went up there and bought tickets 2 hours before no problem, as I have for every other super hip hop underground show I've been to, so them selling out was a bit of a surprise to me.

I saw Atmosphere in Providence once, worst show I've ever fuckin been to. It was when he was touring with a live band instead of a DJ, fuckin trash.

I refer to anyone who my average friend hasn't heard of as underground...I don't know the exact classifications

Let's see this was 2002 or 1... He wasn't underground in my circle, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't really well known.

He could be on MTV now for all I know... But this was before he released Shadows on the Sun. So yeah I'd say he was pretty unknown.

I only heard of him because a friend of mine got a hold of a Rites of Passage tape, and played it for me. Then explained that he was a 300 pound, white, albino, muslim. It really didn't get any better in my head.

Edit: It was 2002.
