it could be an individual who can treat others equally without being condescending. In societal they could be a leader who admits when they make mistakes and engage in domestic and foreign policy that is in the best interests of the people rather than in the interests of how tough their country looks. they wouldnt rest on their laurels but would always strive to do better...

well, damn, dude, wouldn't that be amazing.

so simple but yet so unbeleiveable to fathom right?

there is a youtube channel "radioaporrea" with everyday updates and very good informative updates of venezuela's system change, not lies because u can see economic and social acchivements and people talking in the streets living this up,a good healthy news source, not morbidness, celebrities and deception like american tv news.

Godwilling ill post a list of things chavez and the venezuelan people have acchived so far,in some time from now...ill have to do the research

Chavez continues to be awesome.

That video... if you really want to believe it paints an accurate picture of the reality in Venezuela, so be it. Considering Chavez's explicit censoring and controlling of the media that would allow only this type of video to stream over the airwaves, doesn't sound like Venezuelans themselves would have much choice.

that source is bbc, they have the same interests than the usa empire.

and yes, they protested, but the number dont even come close to the ones CELEBRATING because of their new chanel TEVES,which will be a chanel open to the public and not being financed by the companies like the trash that they used to show thru that chanel, the rctv.

educative, informative, solidary, positive, without obcenity and greed is the TEVES chanel going to be,its its not up to Chavez, its the people who push for it,more than the half of venezuelians.

RCTV is famous for spreading misinfo about the coup d'etat of 2002,by saying that the people were shooting and being animals when they had snipers and police was shooting at people and many died,so the game is over for these few groups,in venezuela there's socialism for the people and if anyone is agaisnt that its because he knows he cant stick his hand in the bag no more.

the media its such a great tool, and being in the hands of the middle working class is what the greedy ones dont want.

The source is probably every single news outlet everywhere. I just happened to pick the BBC link, but the reaction everywhere, including many south american newspapers that are even somewhat sympathetic towards Chavez and the socialist cause, is overwhelmingly negative. You can try to spin this whichever way you want, a channel spreading misinfo or whatever, the fact is someone is being censored for their political views and the fact that you think this is in any way OK is appaling. I really don't understand why causes that I truly think are noble (but somewhat misguided) such as socialism tend to always carry with them censorship and restriction of expressive freedoms. I don't understand what's so threatening to socialism about having voices of dissent, yet there seems to always be an element of overt persecution and repression. I'm all for the betterment of Venezuela, and it seems like a lot of things are headed in the right direction, but then they pull shit like this and it's simply fucking disgusting. I've talked about this with my Venezuelan friends, the vast majority who come from lower middle class upbringings in Venezuela and have established themselves comfortably in Puerto Rico (where I live), and they all agree, along with some of the more upscale Venezuelans I know. This is fucking bullshit. You can probably go ahead and say something about them having been assimilated and brainwashed by the capitalist system, at which point I will probably stop trying to have a meaningful discussion out of sheer hopelessness.

I'd love to see how many of "the people" that want to express something critical of Chavez will be allowed to do so in this cute new little channel of theirs.

no censorship, they can be critical, now the RCTV had to renew its contract and chavez didnt do it,yet he made a channel(TVes) open for the public, for the people...imagine,we are people,we could have a graff show or hip hop show, whatever show, but how do u do that in the usa?

OPEN for the public, with good education for the kids, and no more lies.

they, lied, they didnt had a JUST critical idea, they lied tremendously and incite violence, look now talking about violence, their protest against the closing of rctv cause trouble, blocked the traffic and were insulting the cameras of the other news source, even hitting and throwing water bottles at the reporters, thats democracy from them?

venezuela does not censor criticism, they just wont let a good for nothing channel go on,and after all they REPLACED it with a better one, open to the people to do their programs for their comunities.

unfortunatly things are changing against the oligarchy of the group that are pushing for their so called "new world order",(u know a whole change for the whole world[in a bad way for us]) and they have been trying to do what ever it takes to sink chavez and his gov, look at this video,CNN showed protests in mexico, chavez with an "suspected" alqaeda lider, and protests against chavez in china!!! madness!!! and the venezuelans noticed, and made thier on report exposing their lies, and then CNN "appologized" in a deceiving reporter way with 5000 words(to confuse and not be Straight) simply saying they are sorry and it was a "mistake".. just look ---->

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JLALjDD8YE

for these demons to be against venezuela, and they are not the only one,i know many sources which are against,Specially the spanish ones, the radios(they all push for globalization),they know this is not beneficial for them...so if they are against that, then that other part could be the good part?? and i asked myself that and at first was very skeptic about it,but research helps, and i know who is who now.

being an american, i think the issue of flag pride has been way overdone. these stupid fucks with their barbaric sense of national pride don't really give a shit about what is really going on in the world and all the fucked up things "we" are doing to other countries, forcing our beliefs on them. all they know is that "america rules." i say fuck that, go get an education and learn to think for yourself.

as for other countries, i think that any national pride they can show is good. it is a good thing to be independent of the u.s.
