You probably get this question asked a lot but do you miss doing the old abstract stuff? Or like, is it getting old and tired for you and that's why you moved onto these more obvious letters? I do appreciate the fact that you are trying new things all the time, everyone should do that to keep shit interesting.

The silver piece being engulfed by the brown and grey clouds is real cool. So are the ones Poesia bumped.

bump for new things.

The abstract stuff is fun to draw, but boring to paint. Since it's so flat and 2D, the way I do it basically comes down to filling in areas with solid color, and I don't get to do fun stuff with paint, like blends, fades and building up color to get rendered effects. Putting up an abstract, one line outline is challenging, but then I have a big, boring stretch of time afterwards where all I'm doing is emptying cans. When i have something new to bring to the table, I'll probably go back to it. In the meantime, it's always good to keep strengthening the core letters and getting better at classic styles. Here's a couple to look at.
