At least he broke Franklin's arm, Franklin is tough. That Cro Cop fight was pretty good. I'm glad Condit won, but really I think he was a better fighter in WEC than he is now at this weight class. facemeltAAARGH Posted June 13, 2010 Share Posted June 13, 2010 I feel bad cause Chuck was in such good condition and trained hard for it, but I dont think he was fighting smart on that one. If you look at him on his past fights compared to the one with Franklin, you can see how Chuck is in way better shape, maybe even better when he was on his prime. His striking was no doubt powerful, dude even had a kick that BROKE Rich's fucking arm. So, if you ask me, Chuck was no doubt prepared for that fight BUT.. the thing about him is that his jaw weakened and he's way too wreckless, which gave the win away to Franklin. Just look at the last seconds of the round, Chuck was trying so hard to KO Rich that he just went berserk. His last shot had so much momentum that it gave more power to Rich's counter-punch, so yeah.. Chuck's momentum pretty much knocked him the fuck out. I bet you that if he didnt get so wreckless, he could've KO'ed Rich in the 2nd or 3rd round. All in all, he deserves his credit, he trained hard but his whole aggressiveness finally caught up to him. He should just let it go though, I mean, the dude has a ferrari and a legacy.. his girlfriend is hot and his kids are happy, I think he should just enjoy that shit.
