every episode of locked up with work out scenes ive watched has convicts doing burpees (w/pushups...usually 2 in between), decline pushups, regular pushups, dips and pull ups (pullups and pushups at different widths)...but i think burpees is the most common workout at the pen because you can work out more of your body (especially since youre doing a squat to get to the pushups).

 

some people (not people doing time) even add the whole plyometrics to the burpee after standing up by jumping straight up.

 

i kind of want to experiment more with burpees /no homo

shit, i was talking to my homegirl about them last saturday as we were walking back to her car.

she said her old personal trainer made her do them.

so i told her if she did 5, i'd do 10 of them.

so, she did 5 in tight jeans and high heals right there on the sidewalk.

I got to about 8 and was super winded...and i run a mile and a half 4 to 5 times a week!
