VAJ Posted February 12, 2007 Share Posted February 12, 2007 Have any of you ever given up cigarettes? I quit smoking just over a week ago and I think it's ruining my life. I was doing just fine at first. I think. The past few days though, Ive been a big bucket of nuts. Crying. Screaming. Crying. Laughing. Crying. Moody as hell. Mostly just really emotional though. It's so not me. Does this happen to guys when they quit? Is it a chick thing? Am I gonna be crazy forever? I couldn't figure out what the hell was wrong with me at first. Then I realized it must be tied to the lack nicotine. I figured maybe I should get a patch. Or some gum. But the thing is I have no desire to smoke again. Anyone relate? Got any advice? VAJ Posted February 12, 2007 Author Share Posted February 12, 2007 Wow. That sucks. I didn't really decide to quit for health reasons only. I don't find it to be as glamorous as I use to. Dallas is banning smoking everywhere now so being a smoker has turned into being an outcast. They've even begun banning outside smoking in many places. Plus, the whole stinky thing.
