In my experience the music our children listen to is the most influentale part of their lives outside of church. These days though, with the internet, I find it hard to moniter what my sons listen to. So when i found your website, you can imagine how happy I was. Recently I bought several CDs for my son at the suggestion of one of my congregation members and was suprised to find that intertwined within the christian lyrics were homosexual undertones. I was distressed so I decided to email you a warning so you can spread the word. The band as the subject says is "Relient K". On one of their albums there is a song called, "Maybe its Maybeline", which is a womans makeup company, men singing about makeup? But thats just the begining, in that song there is a set of lyrics which goes, "We're all sinners. We're all unclean. Maybe we're born with it. Or maybe its Maybeline.", If that doesnt sound like a attempt to justify their homosexual lifestyles within christianity then I dont know what does. The most obvious song is called, "Charles in Charge". Read the lyrics: New boy in the neighborhood Lives down stairs and it's understood. He's there just to take good care of me. Like he's one of the family. Charles in charge of Our days and our nights. Charles in charge of Our wrongs and our rights. So I say I want Charles in charge of me. Charles, I love you, Love you till the end. And I love Buddy, Cause he's your best friend. Let's go hang out, You me and Jesus at your mom's pizza parlor. And maybe you can hook me up With the girl that's from Baywatch. Besides the last line it sounds like he is writing a love ballad. He even says "Charles, I love you, Love you till the end." Something must be done. I cannot have these heathen polluting my childrens minds with thier gay music. Really cool dude. Been in his business for a long while. I asked him who else he was a stage manager for. He hesitantly said.... One direction.
