the issues are not available for subscription and only on the shelves quarterly. wherever you got rid of those, somebody scored.

 

got any pictures of your LRbike?

 

im sure the issues are still at my parents house somewhere..

Those are nice bikes. That's one of the two subject topics covered in that mag that keeps me buying them. The other is the model kit articles usually in the second half of each issue. It started moving more toward diecast toys and less for plastic model kits, but there in there still.

 

I have two LRbikes both in rebuild and recondition status right now. One is an original "lil chic" Chicago Schwinn and the other is a knock off generic low rider bike that someone bought complete from a flee market vendor or something. I got it cheap from a second hand store, it looks like it's been in the backyard and in the weather for several years.

i had better pictures of this... i think my girlfriend deleted them. meh...im hoping to make a layout when i get enough space in my living quarters.

A layout would be interesting. In HO scale it wouldn't have to be very big if multi level to show off your trains. This one is about 33 cm (13 inches) across, with plenty of wall space to paint on.
