Posted January 21, 2007 Share Posted January 21, 2007 tupac had something to do with the black panthers? i thought only his mom was a black panther. the black panthers died out in the early 70's. the new black panthers are just college black kids and pseudo-revolutionaries. the original black panthers had a legitimate cause, carried shotguns and got in gun battles with racist police officers. But basically what you just said was 100% bullshit. 95% percent of people didn't know he had shit to do with the Black Panthers til after he died. 80% of the people knew who he was before Juice... And yes of course Dr. Dre and Death Row made him bigger. They were uh, the biggest producer and independent record label of the time. That's what happens when you go on the biggest record label, more people hear you. i never said tpac had anything to do with tha panthers just his last name was assoated{sp} with.
