DeweyVonGumpsteinAndTheWiz
WASHINGTON — President Bush on Wednesday night vowed to send more troops to the war-torn Iraq to help the country "break the current cycle of violence" and "hasten the day our troops begin coming home." Bush said now is the time for a change in strategy because "failure in Iraq would be a disaster for the United States." He said his new course would help the United States succeed after a "stunning achievement" in 2005 that brought a new democratic government into power. Unfortunately, in 2006 insurgents were able to gain a foothold and "the violence in Iraq overwhelmed the political gains that had been made." Bush acknowledged mistakes in Iraq but also put Iraqi leaders on notice that the new approach could be a last chance. "The situation in Iraq is unacceptable to the American people — and it is unacceptable to me. Our troops in Iraq have fought bravely. They have done everything we have asked them to do. Where mistakes have been made, the responsibility rests with me," Bush said from the Library — a White House room never before used by the president for a public address. Cracked Ass
The most telling quote that illuminates how little Bush gets, about anything, is "Failure in Iraq would be a disaster for the US." Disaster = already happened. Horse gone. Don't matter what happen with the barn door now.

Theo Huxtable.
bush is not the most articulate individual. you'd think that'd be a requirement for his position. only within the past 6 months or so has he been admitting he was being a dumbass and made a lot of boneheaded mistakes (which could've easily been avoided) -- but what really shows that he's a dumbass is that he's just now realizing his mistakes, when his critics had known this right from the beginning, and even before the Iraq invasion. Larry Pubes
it's really astonishing that the bush/cheney crime syndicate is still wielding power. i like how bush decided to meet with the family members of dead soldiers finally, it really sends the message that he's the concerned, great leader he believes himself to be instead of the thug he really is. stunt double
this is fucking hilarious. how are 20,000 troops going to be the magic ingredient in achieving peace in iraq. 140,000+ troops haven't done it yet, i dont see how this will even make a difference. BUSH AND CHENEY, EAT A DICK.
