A series of drawings and quotes on napkins put in my daughters' lunches for jr. high and high school every day over a 5 year period.

my dad did something similar except the messages were in code, printed on bounty papertowel, and i didn't get a lunch with the notes. i'd have to break the code while the other kids ate. if i couldn't figure it out, i'd eat the papertowel for lunch.

aww i should start doing that...i was happy today when i dropped my daughter off at school and as i was walking away some boy said "hey is that your mom," and my daughter said yes, and he said "you have a pretty mom," and my daughter said, "i know, she looks just like me"

damn why'd my parents not do this for me??? all my hippie ass dad did was take me to mad phish and grateful dead shows and expose me to drugs at a young age. i got the coolest dad.

My dad used to draw straight or bubble letters on my lunch bags. No joke...

 

He didn't know they were either, but they were, and I remember trying to bite my dad while I was drawing during class.
