seeking
not living in NY and paying very little attention to anything, i honestly didn't know a ton about DESA before i started hearing about this project, but dude is definitely worthy. i spent a solid 4 hours today at work laying on the couch reading it cover to cover. if you're one of the few people in channel zero that actually cares about graff, you should buy this shit. BTW, this totally isn't me trying to drum up discussion cause of my 12oz affiliation. i have no affiliation to illegal immigrants or aboriginees, but i'm big upping them lately as well. oh, im also really into the first D.O.C. album, birds, leaves, spaghetti with chicken, and heinekin. you should support everything ive listed. thanks. MAR
I already got it. Well worth the money and a very interesting read. edit: I also got the secret gift. I might get it framed.
Blood Feast Island Man
no one's gonna buy me a copy and the chances of me finding it in buenos aires is nil, so I'll never read this book. I don't really care though. incidentally his interview in all city was very interesting.
the man the myth the GOON
i probably won't get this for a few months. but i'm def going to pick it up.
Harvey Wallbanger
I was thinking about swinging by Scrapyard and picking this up today, but I decided against it 'cuz I'm broke. My girlfriend will probably get me a copy for Christmas anyway. I'm really looking forward to it.

seeking
4hours? its got like 14 pages of text or some shit. i liked the book but i was hoping for alot more text. 4 hours of reading and pouring over every page 3 times. i would have liked more text as well. i cant wait for someone to actually take the time to get stories from a ton of people and put out a mostly word book. i know there's a fairly small market for words and all, but still. the man the myth the GOON
i've got a couple graff books that are mostly text, but its more research than story telling. AEROSOL KINGDOM is interesting in that sense.

the man the myth the GOON
for real.. assignment for AKA group: next book: text. stories from all the guys you know, that'd be an impressive collection of painting tales i'm sure. of course have a few pages of your artsy faggotted 4 layers photos that i don't really understand, just tell some stories. boogie hands
i ordered this thing with a quickness and im glad i have it. the goodies were pretty novel too. all in all, great book, great photos, great packaging. my only advice would be to ship them a little better...one bubble sleeve doesnt really do much for a hardcover book and the corners on mine show it. skullnbones
yeah, but not even just chase stories. more just like...life stories. Agreed. I love graffiti books and all but the lack of text always lets them down. The attention to detail with the two aka books i have made them worth my money and trouble though. I reallly want that desa book but with postage included (more that the price of the book) it's just too much. It sucks. :(:(:(
THANKYOU
its a good book. i to, didnt know much about desa, always saw him up in threads of nyc and what not, but didnt know much about his story. very impressed after reading the book...
