sunday morning sucks.. I ended up spending about 20 minutes earlier this morning hiding in a pond from the police... then it took me about a hour to walk home soaking wet... I was already really sick... now I think I have hypothermia...

Last night I went to a party that kind of got busted. I mean no citations were handed out, but we were told to wrap it up.

When the police came a variety of things were very cool:

Since I'm legally able to drink now, it wasn't my party, and I wasn't driving that night, I had no fear or risk involved in dealing with the police. It's a good feeling.

I had to carry a couple of way drunk girls to various rooms where they could continue to be passed out. Carrying people makes one feel very macho for some reason.

We knew the cop was waiting for us up the block, so we all made a mass exodus, and the person that got pulled over wasn't drunk. That was cool too.

Cool things about today:

Waking up at noon.

Not having to do anything.

Double Impact.

Knowing that I don't have class tomorrow.

I went to the White Walls opening in SF and met Sam Flores who i might add is a super cool guy. He was kind enough to sign my copy of super limited edition graff book on sale there. I told him he was a great artist and to keep it up to which he said "hey man, thanks a lot....that's an awesome thing to hear"

Well, I woke up Sunday morning

With no way to hold my head that didn't hurt.

And the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad,

So I had one more for dessert.

Then I fumbled in my closet through my clothes

And found my cleanest dirty shirt.

Then I washed my face and combed my hair

And stumbled down the stairs to meet the day.

I'd smoked my mind the night before

With cigarettes and songs I'd been picking.

But I lit my first and watched a small kid

Playing with a can that he was kicking.

Then I walked across the street

And caught the Sunday smell of someone frying chicken.

And Lord, it took me back to something that I'd lost

Somewhere, somehow along the way.

On a Sunday morning sidewalk,

I'm wishing, Lord, that I was stoned.

'Cause there's something in a Sunday

That makes a body feel alone.

And there's nothing short a' dying

That's half as lonesome as the sound

Of the sleeping city sidewalk

And Sunday morning coming down.

In the park I saw a daddy

With a laughing little girl that he was swinging.

And I stopped beside a Sunday school

And listened to the songs they were singing.

Then I headed down the street,

And somewhere far away a lonely bell was ringing,

And it echoed through the canyon

Like the disappearing dreams of yesterday.

On a Sunday morning sidewalk,

I'm wishing, Lord, that I was stoned.

'Cause there's something in a Sunday

That makes a body feel alone.

And there's nothing short a' dying

That's half as lonesome as the sound

Of the sleeping city sidewalk

And Sunday morning coming down.

Artist: K-OS Lyrics

Song: Sunday Morning Lyrics

Chorus:

Everyday is Saturday night, but I can't wait for Sunday morning, Sunday morning

Verse 1:

It's the same thing, back in the cold

People know people come and go it bores me

Same thing

Seems like I'm trapped in the world where the servants they serve time

Time waits on no man

So when people fall like me

I

Chorus (x2)

Verse 2:

Walking down blocks

Pictures don't stop

Pictures inside my dome

This is not me

I'm just afraid to be here all alone

Hurry up, wait

Quit it don't stop

I'm drowning in the self

This is not me

Where is my revolution, but

If you want to own me

I am not concerned

If you follow me

I know that I can learn

You might be the greatest thing I've ever seen

All I know is music

All, All I've ever known

Chorus (x2)

(Let's go! x4)

Chorus (x3)
