LICKERISH Posted December 16, 2009 Share Posted December 16, 2009 A lot of the shit is explainable about why the Trinity killer would go after Dexter...just think of how Trinity went to Deb's apartment instead of Dexters house. It could be easily explainable that the Trinity killer felt Deb was to blame for his daughters suicide and killed Rita thinking it was her. The stuff I'd like to see them explain away is why he was all up and close with Trinity's family, though it could partially be explained that Dexter just happened to be a fellow volunteer at the same home building charity spot (which still wouldn't explain his name being Kyle Butler to Arthur's fam)...plus why wouldn't his own sister know of this and whatnot...I'm totally anxious to see how they're gonna be writing the next season. She has no good qualities and lives off Dexter's hunches when it comes to finding people. She dated the ice truck killer and didnt realize it was him. She cheated on the one guy who was awesome for her. Last season when IA was investigating Quinn, Quinn says he had sex with the IA chick, so she blasts her for that, then the IA chick turns around and says Quinn let a cop die. So then she blasts quinn for that. She does no investigating about what she is told and just believes it all, its a terrible character trait. She was brought up in a good life by her cop dad, but is always trying to act hard to these crooks she is arresting. Nothing about her character is good. bump everyone who hates Deb. i hate how they try to portray her as some sexual being. she has the body of a 15 year old swimmer. no pedo. her gratuitous use of the word FUCk.....not fly. i understand where her role fits in the show...but god, i so wish she would have got murked by the ice truck killer. p.s. dexter is gonna have to piss on trinity's grave to get back at him bathing butt nekked with rita in her blood. its the only way he can get back at him. Word, Doakes got done in dirty, but he was a calculating and instinctual detective that was of caliber to figure Dexter out, while Quinn is still shown as a sloppy, crooked, self-involved, talentless detective. Dexter had respect for Doakes (despite the shootings), and it showed as Dex let him tail him for that whole time, and how he treated him when he was locked up, etc. It seems like Quinn is getting that "feeling" about Dexter, but he's a moron, and clearly incapable of leading an independent investigation like Doakes did, BUT, i feel he's dumb enough to take that hunch to someone like Laguerta. That's why I hope Quinn doesn't take him down. also, ^the body of a swimmer thing is catching on, hilarious. everytime i see deb i imagine her with a swimming cap and goggles. try it, it's remarkably easy.
