Foyte Posted November 30, 2006 Share Posted November 30, 2006 Free Agents was a crew started by SEVEN who first wrote it not as a crew but as a phrase that embodied his thoughts on his place in graffiti, Free Agent meaning not connected to the traditional scenes in the U.S. ( PHILLY/NY/CALI/). eventually he took to putting others down with his idea,and more people started writing it, in DC guys like SMK and KIER repped it, and when SEVEN moved to Miami he put cats on there and they also wrote Free Agents, although they are more commonly know as Ink Heads, and some are the creators of 12oz Prophet Magazine and this beutiful 12oz Prophet site. Roger Gastman used the name with the blessing of SEVEN to tell the story of a handfull of writers who have put in work in this city, its not a complete history by far, and many more stories can be told.
