RumPuncher
^ I started reading Tai-Pan only to find that the used paperback had lost a few pages. If there's a few pages missing in the first few chapters it's no big deal, but it made me think there's also be pages missing in the really important parts. So I dropped the book. El Mamerro
Great book to pick up everyonce in a while, pick a few random chapters to read, then put back down to rediscover 6 months down the road.

Guest YEAHMANWORD
and beginning Parallel Worlds by Michio Kaku This was an extremely hard read for me. I was good up until halfway through it and then just basically skimmed the rest of it.

RumPuncher
im reading too much physics shit lately. would anyone contribute to a thread? nope, but I would recomend this book: it's from the 70's so it's very dated when it comes to newer concepts, but the writer really goes for a simple "zen and the art of..." style and it works. ohnoone
i just read this which came out this year the author talks cash shit about wu li masters. mostly for just being dated and stretching new(at the time) concepts to fit with zen ideas. the physics of consciousness.deals with alot of zen-ish things but i wouldnt reccomend it to laypersons, the first 150 pages are very technical and hard to follow before he gets to the good shit, about consciousness that is.
