SONY HAS A LARGE LCD SCREEN LIKE THIS ON ONE OF THEIR COMPACT CAMS.

THESE LARGE LCD SCREENS EAT BATTERIES LIKE CANDY.

THAT SEEMS LIKE THE ONLY DOWNFALL

From what I've heard, Casio has pretty exceptional battery life. THere's just a couple things, might be a little skimpy on memory if you plan on taking lots of high resolution shots... 3x optical zoom may be a little short as well if you plan on taking long distance shots, if you're shooting range is about 8 feet (give or take a couple feet) then you should be fine.

aiight, well, flipside of the zoom is wideangle and apparently it's 38mm... your eyes are basically 42mm so you're not gonna be able to get much wider than you see...

Not that it's a bad thing, I usually carry 3 lenses w/ my traditional SLR. 100mm, 40mm, and 35mm. That Casio basically shoots 38mm - 114mm so, pretty much in the same range...

All in all it seems worth it but definately consider the cost of extra memory.
