Scary Movies ---> obscure ones...

Ok, I like scary movies... I would really like if someone could recommend some to me...

I know in that Silent Hill thread someone recommended "Shutter"... I am currently acquiring it... legally cough... cough...

Anyhow, I would like some other scary moves, preferrably ones that are not crappy, and not ones that are about

some jackass dude that kills people, I like ghost stories, or aliens, or whatever... so, with that, I rely on the faithful

12oz members whose knowledge of diverse subjects spread further and wider (splash!!) than any one person's alone...

Thank you, and have a good day.

Sincerely,

Dirty

p.s. subtitled movies are fine.

im really into zombie flicks... have you seen 28 days later?? it wasnt actually very obscure but pretty good...

a very old (but very good) vincent price movie is "the last man on earth" its a bit dated by todays standards of "scary" but a classic nontheless...

"the exorcist: beginings" was decent.... so was "red dragon" the prelude to silence of the lambs..

ill go and look through my movie collection later...

Event Horizon is the only scary movie I've ever stopped watching, mind you I was alot younger at the time, I would like to see it now.

Seriously, I felt the same way the first time I watched that movie and I've talked to a grip of people who've said the same thing. I don't know what it was that made that movie so bug, but I've heard more than a handfull of people say that it's one of the only movies that ever really scared them.

I think it was the little split-second, subliminal-esque clips of the demons ripping the ship's previous passengers to shreds that must've done it for me.
