Magic's greatest secrets revealed

Recommended Posts

Alright, I know a lot of people on 12 oz like Magic. I also know that his stuff is a little hard to come by. So with that in mind I took the liberty of gathering up a few of his pieces from around the internet. Hope you guys and gals enjoy. Sorry if some/all of these have been posted before.

Yes!!!! I do like this man's work. It's just got Dusseldorf written all over it. Somewhere between How and Nosm and Efas and Moritz but given a choice I definitely prefer Magic's flavour, with those brush stroke style fades.

Bump, especially for the following:

The only thing I can think of is that he falls into that classic category of 'slept-on' writers.

I think you could also call Magic a "piecer's piecer", mainly because you can look at his piece and see lots of subtleties in technique and style, if that makes any sense...:D

A while back I asked Moritz about Magic's style and he said the guy is a major influence on a lot of German style writers .... but .... he doesn't (or didn't at the time) paint enough to satisfy other peoples demands. I could never get tired of seeing his stuff ... every hour of every day.

So Magic .... hear this .... PAINT MORE!!!!!!!!!! Listen to us, we know best :)
