September 1, 200618 yr Author Re: All access pass Matter of opinion I guess. Hard to Earn was a childhood classic to me, still one of my favorite rap albums from the 90's. Group Home was great, Serious Rap Shit is fucking tough, along with the rest of Livin' Proof, also another 90's classic. I wouldn't say GURU is one of the best MC's ever, but dude has had his hands in a lot of good projects and has been fresh for a while, along with Primo.

September 1, 200618 yr Re: All access pass primo? are you guys fucking kidding? primo and pete rock should get together an have a battle to see whos beats are more redundant and tired. the last marginally exciting thing primo did was the beat for "ante up" and if MOP hadnt been on it it wouldnt have been half as good. if i had my way guru would stop rapping and persue a career in being fat and primo would stick to doing beats for underground rappers who no one gives a shit about but for some reason think getting primo to drop some formulaic beat on their album is going to compensate for the fact that have no skills or originality. talking about hip hop gets me all worked up because it sucks so much.

DR period actually did the beat. premier will always be my favorite producer. and no i havent been feeling anything he's done lately(he killed me with that christina aguilera shit). alot of the reasons he's failing the way he lately is because he finally updated his gear with protools and other beatmaking software, when for a long time up until 03 he was simply using vinyl, dat tapes and a mpc 50 which is outdated is fuck to have in 03(most people have mpc2000,4000+) the mpc 50 was the reason for his gritty boom bap beats and when he replaced it his beats went out the window. but i will always respect dude for the shit he's done in the past.
