Pheonix:

Monte's was a good cheap place for a steak, actually in Tempe.

S.F.:

Valencia and Sixteenth anywhere is good Latin food.

Baltimore:

Pete's Grill on Greenmount Ave., good ole American food.

Philly:

Imperial for Chinese in Chinatown, if I remember correctly.

North Miami Beach:

Steve's Pizza

Paris, FR:

Vietnamese near L'Opera

I would head to Vancouver, LA, or NYC on the continent for exceptionally good sushi.

Best Dim Sum I've had, that place up the escalator in NYC Chinatown.

Overall, the best place I've found to eat is in somebody's home, the price is right too, now go out there and finagle some invites.

Ann Arbor:

Zingerman's Deli (sandwiches cost around $13 but they're worth every cent, best Reuben in the world)

Edit: oh yes:

zreuben%201.jpg

Blimpy Burger

Buffalo Wild Wings is alright

Berkeley:

Brazil Cafe (top of University, tri-tip sandwiches are bomb, get an acai smoothie and you'll be feeling 100%)

Zachary's Pizza

Cancun Taqueria off Shattuck

Naan n' Curry on Telegraph

Arinell's Pizza

Everett and Jones on San Pablo

Cactus Taqueria

Food is good.

Hayward -

Family Fish and Poultry on Mission Blvd. -

The food is relatively cheap there, and I have yet to find better fried fish and chicken anywhere around. It's a tiny place, you can't even eat there. But yeah, it's great.

Favorite Indian food on A st and Second st. -

It's my favorite. Really good and cheap. Zerocool turned me on to this place.

Hayward Japan Grill on C st. -

Okay the service at this place really sucks. But the food is good, and really really really reall y inexpensive. I mean I don't think anything costs over 6 dollars. The best thing about this place is they serve cheeseburgers if you feel like one.

Los Compadres on Cst (next door to Hayward Japan Grill) -

Awesome mexican food. Good people. Good prices. They also have a really really good cheeseburger and fries meal.

Late Night tip...

Nations on Jackson and Harder.-

I really only like their breakfast. It's like 5 dollars, I think they're open until like 3 am.

La Pinata #1 on Mission Blvd right before it turns into East 14th -

Open til 3am. Cheap food. Huge burritos. Pretty good.

1/4 pounder on Mission Blvd -

You can get a pretty big burger and a good amount of fries here for 5 bucks. Open 24 hours a day. If you don't mind getting propositioned for crack, meth, and sex. It's right next to a park where homeless people sleep. But seriously. 24 hours, good big cheeseburger and fries. It's awesome if you're drunk, and hungry, and driving around.

That's all I got.

I stand by this.
