A pound of tea makes well over 100 cups of tea, even 200 depending on the tea.. People are quick to throw out 3$ for a cup of run-of-the-mill coffee at Starbucks so what's the big deal about spending 1$ a cup for some of the best tea in the world? No one says you have to buy a pound at a time either, if the shoppe you go to is proper, you can even buy it by the ounce..
