Casey White, 23, was arrested Tuesday at his home by investigators armed with a search warrant, Santa Rosa Police Sgt. Andy Romero said.

White was held on suspicion of felony vandalism and misdemeanor possession of vandalism tools, Romero said.

White is suspected of etching graffiti in window panes at Icon Hair Salon and Cokas-Diko Furniture on Fourth Street and a Circle Bank branch on Old Courthouse Square, next door to what is being readied for a new downtown police office, Romero said.

The damage to the three businesses was estimated at $8,000.

Officers also served a search warrant on a home in Santa Rosa where another suspect is believed to live, Romero said. No arrests resulted, he said, but the case is open, and suspects still are being sought.

The arrests followed a six-week investigation, he said.
