This shit, Clerks, was downright hilarious. Like hilarious to the point you find yourself laughing at some completely retarded shit and then you laugh even harder because you realize how retarded you are for even finding it funny in the first place. Gunm Posted August 4, 2006 Share Posted August 4, 2006 I saw this movie last night and it was funny......I mean, really goddamn funny. I can't remember the last time I really laughed so much. The LOTR segment was so on point....the way Randall broke it down, oh man, I will never look at those films the same way again. Pillow pants? omfg.... Inter-species erotica.....cot damn. Silence of The Lambs re-enactment by Jay....wow. Calling a broken bottle a "nigger knife".....I watched this in Oakland and it was awesome seeing all the black and white people in the audience laughing together over that one. Randall hitting on teenage girls. The "Eat Pussy" graffiti (Jay: "Oh yeah.....we do!") And the end where they faded back to black and white? Awesome. Okay...so there were some VERY predicatable romantic elements (a genuine no-brainer dante ended up with rosario dawson) but Kevin Smith definately did a good job of working his humor into various scenes so things weren't too sappy.
