do you mean thats the tracks in watsonville or the actual pajaro yard in PJ?

 

coz thats not the pajaro yard. Its the pajaro valley tracks IN WATSONVILLE located on walker street.

They had installed them there because of the new sugar company that was built on walker to produce sugar around 1888 or 1895.

By the 1890s, Watsonville, the town that served the rich and fertile Pajaro , had a thriving freight yards where the land's produce was shipped out to San Francisco and beyond. The Southern Pacific Railroad opened a station in Pajaro near Watsonville in 1871, connecting the town of a few thousand residents to the rest of the country by rails. By the 1890s, local farmers and fruit packing houses sold strawberries, apples, and other fruits and vegetables to market, and shipped them by rail and sea.

everytime you copy the contents word by word of a book or web page of a writer/author your suppose to put the source and give him credit. Did they not teach you that in school? ha just fugging with you.

 

yeah they shipped sugar to sf, but that pic you posted isn't the PAJARO YARD. its walker street in watson. the tracks where all the bums drink at. read the book it tells you in there.
