Posted July 12, 200619 yr i am able to go out to africa and work in an orphanage for children that are H.I.V positive and whose parents have died from H.I.V. i will also be going to work in a school helping cook, teach and build etc. im getting it all paid for but it clashes over my birthday and the start of my driving lessons. who thinks i should go?
July 12, 200619 yr WHERE IN AFRICA?? IF ITS EAST AFRICA, GO.. WEST AFRICA, NO CACASHREFUND cares about black people
July 12, 200619 yr yeah it really depends on where you're going, i wouldnt suggest going to the congo or something, but there are several places in africa i'd like to go, especially in the east and north...
July 12, 200619 yr Yo go and burn that mother fucker down while those nasty little negros are sleeping....help stop the spreed of aids
July 12, 200619 yr go do something rewarding if you have the chance. birthdays happen every year and really, what are going to go do when you cant get into strip clubs or go to bars? skateboard and smoke pot? p.s.- if you decide not to go then pm me. ill go.
July 12, 200619 yr na this comment ... im getting it all paid for but it clashes over the start of my driving lessons. ?
July 12, 200619 yr the real question is..... ....if you were at a party and sharing a hot tub with a few people and someone mentioned they were HIV positive...would you stay in the hot tub? oh, wait, i'm just going to make a thread for this
July 12, 200619 yr that sounds sweet i'd do it... i thought this was gonna be about the song by toto though..
July 12, 200619 yr you should go. you'll learn more about yourself and the world in those months than a thousand birthday parties also, drivign will still be here when you get back. driving isn't so great anyway. it's all cool when you first start, then a few years into it you're all 'oh shit mang, i don't wanna drive..'
July 12, 200619 yr bummer, i thought this thread was about the Toto song. [Chorus:] It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do I bless the rains down in Africa Gonna take some time to do the things we never had
July 12, 200619 yr I don't want to sound like a jerk here, but you would be an idiot not to go. You're going to spend the rest of your life driving around and having birthdays, but opportunities like this just become rarer and less feasible as you get older... believe me.
July 12, 200619 yr i got tired of driving after a few months... deffinitely don't let this opportunity pass you by, you'll regret
July 12, 200619 yr I hate that song, AFRICA by a band called TOTO I fucking hate it beyond imagination, I think it's the worst thing ever, EVER. I also hate the name of the band "toto" that's all. you decide "toto"
July 12, 200619 yr driving isn't so great anyway. it's all cool when you first start, then a few years into it you're all 'oh shit mang, i don't wanna drive..' i like driving. its paying for a new car, insurance, gas and maintenance that i dont like.
July 12, 200619 yr how exactly are you going to help these people? as far as i know, there is no cure for aids? are you going to help them by spreading the word of the lord jesus christ? if so, then no, dont go
July 12, 200619 yr well yelp it might just make you feel good about yourself... If you're a "higher morale" type of person, an educated helper. just remember "toto" god damn hell shit fuck satan
July 12, 200619 yr WHERE IN AFRICA?? IF ITS EAST AFRICA, GO.. WEST AFRICA, NO CACASHREFUND cares about black people whats wrong with west africa? my mum and 2 younger brothers live there, one of them was 6 this month and he can already speak fluent french, he's not even been there that long. They've all had malaria though, which is a bit ill (haha) but they're all good. I lived there for a bit when I was young too. My mum thinks it's good for us. Plus she hates England weather. They're in Benin. ANYWAY I say go
