Simple.Two things apply here- eat no more than you need to, and be active. That doesn't mean you need to go run marathons, or anything. Go for a walk after dinner, or breakfast...if it's raining, or you don't feel up to it, don't do it. But, it's a great routine to have, and sometimes it's the best way to clear your head if you have a lot on your mind.

 

As far as eating goes, consider this- if you're active, you need more calories. So, if you like to eat a lot, your activity level and the amount you eat should be proportional. Your body is going to tell you whether the balance is right or not, but it's up to you to pay attention to it.

 

It's sad...none of us are that old, we shouldn't have to worry about this kind of thing till we're probably pushing our forties or fifties. But, we do.

 

I'm glad you care about this, though...you'll be all right.
