swif1
Eternal Champions was pretty bad yet we still played the shit out of it back then. Didn't Street Fighter take a lot longer to come out on Genesis than SNES? I think Capcom had some exclusive deal with Nintendo and Eternal Champions was Sega's way of trying to compensate. Street Fighter II Championship Edition was released on Sega. I felt heartbroken that it didn't come out on SNES because your friend could still pick Ryu if you picked Ryu. That was the main reason why I wanted a Sega back in elementary school. Being able to just change your colour wasn't enough in SFII! Of course, Street Fighter II Turbo later came out for SNES. I was happy. DOWN, R, UP, L, Y, B
fermentor666
Maybe I had it backwards, but I thought SF II vanilla came out first on SNES.

Cold Milk Cup [pt. 2]
Vanilla? I don't understand. I imagine that they're referring to the staple/default/OG SFII.
