I admit myself nothing in this world could ever replace the last degrassi but I personally think that if we give it some time we can appreciate emma and the new gang as well......did anyone see the one where the fat chick got drunk and went to the dance, that was great!!!! Ha ha, my first insight into Canadian culture. Rick gave Joey his dad's coke, then his dad came home and was mega pissed. Kicked the shit outta him, don't you know. How ElemEnoPee has the audacity to compare Degrassi to Saved by the Bell is beyond me. Saved by the Bell was a stupid gay show that probably made me laugh once the entire time I watched it. Degrassi is a Canadian institution. It dealt with realistic problems teenagers go through. And it was funny as fuck. Every Canadian knows the Degrassi song, the characters, etc. I wasn't in Canada when it first started. I got into it when they started showing the reruns in the mid-90's.
