Pistol
This is where I park from around 5:30-8:00 am Listened to Howard Stern and dosed off for a while. Had to leave the 'kick it spot' to drop a duece and work on a crossword puzzle. Kicked back and bird watched along the river. Currently at home posting on 12oz during my extended lunch. uh "late lunch" if the boss asks.

Pistol
haha no doubt i got it easy. public servant status and its raining so tomorrow i'll probably take my laptop in and go park in the my usual wi-fi spots. since it's uh in my contract i cant work in the rain. tomorrow is also pay day. so it's a 3 day weekend after a 3 day work week, due to MLK. life is good. that drilling shit looks like hardt work. sounds like bs working all those days and not knowing when you got a day off coming. money seems good, though. John Galt
I wouldn't mind getting in on this, but trying to smuggle a camera into my work is a great way to earn a one way trip to Fort Leavenworth Prison. Suffice it to say I work around things that make really big explosions...
Pistol
IOU, county/state/city jobs are the tits. caltrans sucks only because they only seem to hire tree workers all the time. thats work. climbing up trees and shit. county is the best because LA county works 4 10's so you get 3 day weekends. some cities do it nut its rare. the hiring process can take a while. test in jan, phy test in march, interview in may, fingerprint in june. you can pretty much get in with no experience and try to get experience in other trades such as carpets, electric, water distribution etc. if you want a step up on the competition consider taking a public works course at a community college. Orange Coast, MT. Sac, and the one in Glendora (cant remember the name) they have online courses. take one in public works, easy. get the credit and certificate. then again it really is a who you know type job still. the one's to get are for water, water treatment and water distribution. once you have those you can pretty much get hired at any city. water districts are always hiring to keep up with growth. LADWP got sick raises. like 20 something percent over 3 years a few years back. cocksuckers.

Dawood
that's a serious job, man. I don't know if I'd be up for that. I've been on some high lifts, but dangling like 100 ft. from the ground sounds like a hell no. I'm sticking to my little 8 ft. ladder, looks good though. Pistol
that shit looks like fun. i get to go up in the boom truck at work once in awhile. if you take it straight up and lower the boom fast you can get the roller coaster effect. fun at my old job i was able to get on the boomlifts as well although i was mostly stuck with a shitty 30 foot scissor lift. i really wanted to get on the heavy duty ones a couple hundred feet. i hope they kicked you down with some 12 counts.
