DETO Posted May 25, 2006 Share Posted May 25, 2006 okay, now that i got your attention. i have an iPod question for you. first of all, i can update my pwn iPod(s) when i want, but my dad gave me his iPod shuffle to upload him some new music. i can not erase his current playlist and create a new one? it should be so simple, but it just will not fucking erase the songs he already has. thanks. SPORTO Posted May 25, 2006 Share Posted May 25, 2006 The iPod suf is a flash memory player. not a hard drive player like your iPod, you neEd to stick the iPod suf into the USB port on the said Mac, double click on the suf icon to see the contents ' the mp3s ' then select then all and delete them. Empty your trash. Now your Dads Suf player should be void of all mp3s/ tunes. Take it out stick it back in, the Mac that is, and now it should take to desired playlists. geezpot Posted May 25, 2006 Share Posted May 25, 2006 I think the software is compatible. Connect the ipod to whatever computer has itunes. Open the ipod playlist folder separately and delete all songs(Ctrl+A) you should have 2 folders opened right now-one from your H/D and one with no songs.
