villain
It looks like I've been drafted back into service. Must be that stop-loss back-door draft thing. Just when you thought it was safe to come outside. Some villains just don't die. lol In the Night In the city, the day is too hot And you're hoping for relief, 'cuz your head is filled with pain But you get no relief, 'cuz the night is the same... In the night, in the night you see through jaded eyes. In the night, in the night you feel barely alive. You live your life in darkness, you've got pennies on your eyes. But you say it's alright, cause you've never lived a lie, As you crawl back into your womblike existence in the night. In the night, in the night you see through jaded eyes. In the night, in the night you feel barely alive. You can't see no light, but you hear those heavy footsteps. And the little man inside twists your tormented mind. Your mind is filled with shadows, your palms are wet with sweat. Limbs are bound and tangled in a fatal net. There are two things you can do. One is turn and fight. The other's run headlong into the night. In the night, in the night you see through jaded eyes. In the night, in the night you feel barely alive. You can't see no light, but you hear those heavy footsteps. And that breathing at your side, is it you, or is it GOODBYE!!!!!! Bad Religion I had to type all that out because for some reason I can't cut and paste in the editor.

villain
Sucks for you' date=' I went from the service to goverment job. Hopfully they wont come after me......[/quote'] I wasn't really stop-lossed. I'm not even eligible for service for two years. I was refering to my screenname which I retired, but when I came back it had 4,999 posts instead of 5,000. One disappeared with Jimmy Hoffa. villain
Whew' date=' thought I was going to have to go into hiding.[/quote'] Yeah hopefully they don't pull that shit on you. I know alot of people who have been pulled from IRR. If you haven't done 8 years they can pull you back until you do 8 years. I don't know if there's any limits on stop loss, but they have been stop lossing entire units at a time. We are up to 900 incidents per week in Iraq. Civil war is a very real possibility. Hopefully Bush getting impeached after mid-term elections is also a very real possibility. Fatalist- I was trying to turn over a new leaf. Better luck next time eh? villain
The air force as an officer is about as cake as it gets in the military. You can retire after 20 years of service. I know lots of people collecting two or more retirement checks.
