Hayabusa Posted May 2, 2006 Share Posted May 2, 2006 well, i dont know if anyone of you guys have noticed this in around where you live, but more and more shows on TV are focusing on online abuse through chat websites and things like myspace. In the past few weeks I've seen a handful of shows talking about clueless dumb kids being "abused" through myspace by annonymous bullies, and how apperently the victims never saw it as being a possible threat and they were completley clueless about this sort of thing happening. HAh in one show this "expert" was brought in to tell a bunch of rich white preppy kids how to "protect" their page so that people can't bully them. Another portion of the show was accounts by kids that have been "Seriously" bullied and who were soooo upset about it. :rolleyes: it was ridiculous. What the hell is the world coming to? how dumb do you have to be to not realize that once u put yourself on the net, you;'re fair game for everyone and anyone? how is it shocking that someone is going to make fun of some loser over myspace when they practically are asking for it? honestly? what the fuck is this world coming to? How is cyber bullying even an issue, there is plenty of ways to make your accounts private, or to ensure that no one has your real personal info, and you're safe? Do we really need experts to teach kids this shit? GET A FUCKING CLUE has anyone else seen similar stuff on tv regarding cyber abuse?
