TheArchitect
whats a good marker or pen for outlines? i use sharpies but they bleed too much and smear with certain colors I use either Microns or Staedtler Pigment Liners. They don't bleed and you can color over them and they won't spread.
VILE_ATX
kinda hard to blend right, copics blend much cleaner
HandPickedGod
whats a good marker or pen for outlines? i use sharpies but they bleed too much and smear with certain colors They do not. You have to know how to use them. With sharpie pens, you have to learn how to outline quickly. Otherwise, they will bleed. I usually go with ballpoint pens that are found in the supermarket. hemp_zombie
hi i am new at 12oz and i had used sharpies and prisma and had nothing but bad luck any tips? for the sharpies?
suca
use microns or zigs, .5 or so for outlines. sharpies shouldnt be fucked with.
Vivre
yeah sharpies arent top of the line, but if in a strain, use em. but zigs are my lil homies. i love those things. microns are so fucking small though, but cool. prismas are great, but it takes a while to learn how to fill with them without leaving streaks. i personally like decos. drael
depends on how many shades of the colour that you have. If you want to blend two similar colours together (ie. blue and green), start with the two basic 'primary' shades and then find different shades of the two original colours that progressively get more similar to the opposite colour. So essentially you are trying to go from a primary blue, to a greeny blue, an even more greeny blue, then to a bluey green, then to a less bluey green and then to your primary green. Done well, it can take fucking ages, but if you are just trying to blend 2 completely different colours, you can meet the 2 colours at a point (like a 2-tone colour scheme), and progressively lay one of the colours over the other at the meeting point so a midrange of the two colours is created. This should give the effect of two colours being blended.
