...cos that's how good it is. buy it, download it, steal it, whatever. just get drunk and rock out

*please don't tell me about some band that's 100 times better, in your opinion, than these guys and how i should have bought their album instead. i don't care how much of a music nerd you are

i dont know dude. i downloaded this shit a while ago on the advice of daniel ratcliff (harry potter) and just couldnt get into it at all. this new wave of 'lets all sound like the talking heads' is kinda killing me. ill try and give it another chance though. just for the team.

i dunno seeks, but i love it. really pay attention to the lyrics. it's more quotable than a mid 90's rap album, and is a genuine working class english record.

"it's the proof that love's not only blind, but deaf" is one of my favorite lines, and it's follwed by a good solid rocking out. "tracky bo'oms tucked in socks" is a great line too. there's a million of em

some more lines i love

"And you can pour your heart out aroud three o'clock

When the 2 for 1's undone the writers block"

"The band were fucking wank" not enough people use the word wank in songs

the whole riot van song is a great example of a working class kid's life

"So up rolls a riot van

And sparks excitement in the boys

But the policemen look annoyed

Perhaps these are ones they should avoid

Got a chase last night

From men with truncheons dressed in hats

We didn't do that much wrong

Still ran away though for the laugh

Just for the laugh

And please just stop talking

Cause they won't find us if you do

Oh those silly boys in blue

Well they won't catch me and you

Have you been drinking, son

You don't look old enough to me

I'm sorry, officer

Is there a certain age you're supposed to be

Cause nobody told me (classic)

And up rolls the riot van

And these lads just wind the coppers up

They ask why they don't catch proper crooks

They get their address and their names took

But they couldn't care less

Thrown in a riot van

And all the coppers kicked him in

And there was no way he could win

Just had to take it on the chin"

I love the songs that I've heard from that cd. The only tracks that I've heard are When the Sun Goes Down and some other one that I don't know that title of.

Interesting fact, they are the fastest selling CD in the UK. Which is odd because they came out of nowhere.

I heard it refered to as a phenomenon(sp?).
