I don't know' date=' dude. KRS was on the radio quite a lot back then. Not as much as Dre, Cube, or Bone Thugz, but still - the fact that you had never heard of him, and that you're a negroid from LA, is disconcerting.[/quote']

most blacks from l.a. didn't listen to krs one. especially since it was during the time of the height of that gay N.Y./L.A. east-west beef... we had to take sides like followers. only people that listened to him in l.a. were the open-minded, the "underground backpackers", the hiphop "purists", and the so-called ny dickriders.

yo man why you guys tripping about not having your old names with the 40,000 posts and the "super duper veteran" rank. eventually no one here will have their old names because 12oz won't be here forever; eventually an asteroid or comet will hit the earth, and/or the sun will expand into a supernova swallowing up the earth so it doesn't matter either way

seriously, some of you kids are fucking retarded.

punk rock and hardcore have ALWAYS been just as much a part of graffiti as hip hop has, they just never felt the need to try and create some gay ass illusion of a 'lifestyle'.

some of yall need to act like you know.

Nothing gayer then a bunch of people bitchin and moanin about how hip hop graffiti should be. All the self proclaimed "big" writers around here are like that, "ALL ABOUT REPRESENTING THE 4 ELEMENTS YO!"

i gotta lawl at this

honestly, regardless of whatever significance punk rock and hardcore supposedly have had in graffiti, this is ridiculous. as of now, graffiti isn't really associated specifically with any type of music. writers' musical tastes vary a lot more than they used to, and so do their personalities. regardless of all that, what it comes down to is, putting the specific logo of one band with their one font reading the title of the forum? i'm amazed that even the idea made it this far.

its funny to hear you say that punk rockers didn't feel that they needed to create a gay illusion of a lifestyle though, that is just hilarious.

Yeah, I was just going to point out that if anything........ punk/hardcore is FAR more cliquey and gay with their "illusion of a lifestyle".
