Walid Jumblat
I heard she beat his high score on Getting Up. Nine charges for man after Mosman row Date November 27, 2012 SUNDAY mornings are usually very quiet on Muston Street in the heart of Mosman. But 33-year-old William Rutter left a trail of destruction down the jacaranda-lined street after he allegedly seriously assaulted four police officers, smashed a window, kicked in a door, bashed his girlfriend and rattled the well-to-do neighbourhood in a domestic violence incident committed on the official day to prevent violence against women. Eight police officers, many of whom had diverted from a White Ribbon Day function, had to subdue Mr Rutter on Sunday morning when he allegedly turned on them after violently assaulting his girlfriend, Eryn Briton, a Taronga Zoo worker. The graffiti artist allegedly shattered Ms Briton's elbow and tried to kick in the door to her apartment when she locked him out. Advertisement She made a frantic call to her mother, Gail, to rescue her but when she arrived neighbours heard Ms Briton, 31, screaming out the third-floor window for her mother to run away because Mr Rutter was running downstairs. Police officers attended to find Mr Rutter out the front of the three-storey apartment block and Ms Briton throwing his belongings out the window. He had smashed in the glass front door to the block and allegedly bit, punched and spat at officers when they tried to apprehend him, a spokesman said. Police allege he broke a female leading senior constable's arm and possibly dislocated a female constable's knee. A male probationary constable is having blood tests after Mr Rutter bit his hand and a male constable suffered bruises and grazes. Mr Rutter suffered some cuts but was well enough to appear in Central Local Court on Monday where he was refused bail on nine charges relating to assault and malicious damage. ''The police officers definitely came off second best,'' said a police spokesman. ''Considering it was White Ribbon Day, it was just horrific.'' The officers used capsicum spray to subdue Mr Rutter before arresting him. Ms Briton took her pet bird and fled on Sunday night. One neighbour, who said the pair seemed a happy, polite couple, said Ms Briton was crying hysterically. Eddie Haskel
I had to double-check when I saw it. I thought it might have been one of Sevn's after he'd had too many Fosters, but if you look closely it's a G2 circle tag. Sevn's started in the middle.
