THANKYOU
im guessing its around 2-400,000 combinations... which, one would be a lot of money to spend, but even more so would be more annoying writing out all the combinations. almost would make someone insane... hints why nobodies ever done it. Future Droid
no the odds arent that low. and it would not be hard to write a piece of software that you could scan in the tickets and automatically store them in a database, hence making it plausable. fuse=--action
I'm changing my answer to 1 in 42,354,312 I think I should have divided by 5! instead of 6! Everytime I see a factorial, I want to yell the number -fuse.

mr.yuck
you dont have to match the powerball in perfect order. The odds of winning are on the back of the ticket. I think it is 1 in 250,000,000 or somewhere around there. So you would have to wait til the jack pot gets to like $500,000,000 before you can play every single number, win, and still turn a profit. On top of that, if you played everysingle number it would take you a year to run every number through their machine. Dope, eh?
Fat Backwood
havnt read any of this. so i dont know if this has been said.. but heres how you do it: 1/44x1/43x1/42x1/41x1/40x1/39= some very small percentage.
