my buddy had the same thing happen where he put a check in and

then a client put a stop on the check the next day. Well my guy got

screwed and he couldn't get money untill the check clears. example:

If I have $0 in my account, and depost a check for $500, I can withdraw the 500 right away.

Guy has to wait 5 business days untill he can touch a new check. super shitty.

 

I'd almost say you go to the bank and talk to a manager to explain yourself

before the check gets called back and the company tells the bank you fucked them (even if you didn't spend a penny)

thing is. they do this shit all the time. in the 2.5 years i have worked here i have had at least 10 checks that bounce, are the wrong ammount, are late, etc. and it's a HUGE corporate company. They have like 10 offices, and a million bank accounts. I am kinda annoyed that they made such a huge deal out of this.

they have a rediculous ammount of overhead,

 

we do court filings, service of process, investigations, research, etc. we have offices all over the state and a few out of state. we have to, on any given day pay thousands and thousands of dollars to cover the fees for our clients.

 

i dont know the deal exactly, but i know it's still lame. but there is, on alot of days, alot more money going out then coming in.
