Garfield - The Sad Truth

Recommended Posts

from the source:

"An interesting thing...if you remove Garfield's thought balloons,

it goes from an unfunny comic to a rather sad, poignant story about

a lonely man who has wasted his life talking to his cat."

where does the 9-11 conspiracy fit into this? it must.

well, dick cheney was hiding out, and while he

was hiding and the airforce was standing down,

tim mcvey had the whole garfield collection.

he, cheney, bin laden, and rod stewart read aloud

to each other while cooking smores.

If you go here and copy the HTML stuff into notepad and save it as a .html file (save as: gar.html), then open the file in your browser, you can use the Garfield randon panel generator. It grabs single panels and puts three together at random, it's pretty funny. The Garfeild people gave them a cease and desist order, but apparently they can't figure out html code.

yeah john is a very sad man, i didnt need somebody to tell me this

you can tell, hes always geting hung up on by women, he doesnt have any human friends male or female and instead relies on his pets as a source of emotional comfort and finds friends in them

its kinda sad, it kinda reflects on the creator of those comics

hmm... that does seem to be an underlying theme. though his largely indifferent cat can be very cool at times.
