lord_casek Posted April 23, 2006 Share Posted April 23, 2006 Re: «<< 12Oz Computer Tech Support >>> yeah, i use dvd shrink to copy dvd's too. good stuff. now, for matroska files and such..... generally, and this is just generally, if i have a simple job, i will use win dvd creator to convert. lately, however, i've been having issues with that crap ass program. so, what do i do lord casek? well, there are a number of options: first off tmpg: the program and the tutorial(s) http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/tmpgenc.cfm that should get you going. convert to a vob and then use dvd shrink so i don't have to get more into this than i want to right now. there are tons of options, really. afterdawn.com is a great resource and you should visit regularly. It handles disc dublicating and pre-mastering with ease, supported by a cover designer and even an audio file editor. The excellent GUI desing keeps all the functions handy and guarantees that simple tasks can be done quickly. If I'd have to settle with just one CDR / DVDR burning software, then Nero would be it.
