23578
its not an AMD equivalent AMD is on its own intel just buys other company emploeyes intel sucks but yeah its good for major gaming it will provide years of upgrades in the computer world so if he gots the money now might as well buy it Quoted post my problem is that i won't be able to afford another computer or monitor for another six years so i went with the dell which comes with a 19" LCD monitor which i upgraded to ultrasharp, i got the videocard that casek told me i didn't need (i think, now that's another issue, i wish they would make detailed specifications available on their site about what they put into these machines), extra memory and firewire too, all for about 900 including shipping. it's might not be half the computer, but i won't be buying another for another five years anyhow, so i was really being impractical trying to buy a fancy mobo which allows upgrading because in five years when i'm ready to upgrade, it will be time to re-up anyhow. Mainter
ok heres my situation i got 28 gb /340 full albums of music sitting on my internal harddrive right now from the past ummm i say 8 months or so i got 2 external harddrives one holds videos and pictures (family pictures and movies/ not porn haha& and some music ) and the other one holds all music from my my collection i have over 800 full albums so my question should i buy 400 blank cds and burn them to keep adding to my collection or should i buy another external harddrive and a mp3 player that will hold more? Herbivore
You know how annoying it would be to burn 400 CDs? If anything, use DVDs, but I'd get the hard drive instead of going through all that hassle.

Mainter
oh for the ones who dont know what a petabyte is and would like to know A bit is a single binary digit, zero or one. A byte is eight bits. A kilobyte is 1024 bytes. A megabyte is 1024 kilobytes which is 1048576 bytes. A gigabyte is 1024 megabytes which is about 1.07 * 10^9 bytes. A terabyte is 1024 gigabytes which is about 1.10 * 10^12 bytes. A petabyte is 1024 terabytes which is about 1.13 * 10^15 bytes. An exabyte is 1024 petabytes which is about 1.15 * 10^18 bytes. A zettabyte is 1024 exabytes which is about 1.18 * 10^21 bytes. A yottabyte is 1024 zettabytes which is about 1.21 * 10^24 bytes. A brontobyte is 1024 yottabytes which is about 1.24 * 10^27 bytes. most of these come from the SI unit prefixes, only adapted to be powers of two, so they are round numbers in binary, which is more suitable for computers. (Occasionally, confusingly, powers of 1000 are used instead of 1024).

MAR
the easiest way would be to create a new folder (right click (when your in explorer) > new folder and copy and paste all your fotos in there. Afterwards use acd burner and burn that folder onto a cd.
