For everyone who doesn't know Metallagher, they cover Metallica songs, but the singer dresses up as Gallagher and smashes the fuck out of tons of things on stage. Basically they get drunk as fuck, cover the entire stage, PA, etc with plastic, play some old metallica and go insane. Half the price, way easier tyo get parts and accessories. The only thing I dontlike about it is the square headlight. oh... and it's a dual sport with a top speed of 100mph. I hear ya on the square headlights. half the price definitely makes it attractive. have you checked the used market? not sure how you are about things...but with me...I need to get what I really want...otherwise I'm just not happy with the next best thing. funny thing about the sport bike...when I initially decided I wanted one...I was gonna buy my boys old 93' ninja 600. he decided against selling it and next thing you know...I went from a 93' ninja to a 97' cbr and then to the 99-01 996s. decided to do it right.
