I add carmelized onions and a little heavy cream to my refried black beans...good stuff. Even though it's after the fact (BTW, good job, LENS...and disregarding the fact that I probably haven't eaten meat since the mid 90's), I'd go with potatoes (baked russets or boiled reds) and a mixed green salad with a balsamic vinegar/olive oil dressing.
