2. The Centers for Disease Control and

Prevention reported that more than 50% of

the US adult population is overweight and that

one of every four adults is obese.

Worse still is the sad fact that one of every

four American children is overweight,

and that obese children are predisposed to

become obese adults. Obesity costs the

nation $68 billion annually in health care and

personal living costs. Recent

evidence shows that 29% of Americans are

sedentary and that 80% do not meet the

recommended 30 minutes of moderate physical

activity at least five days per week.

Physical inactivity is a primary factor in at

least 300,000 deaths annually,

since you asked...

no point. 'retarded'? okay..

just images

that i came across. apparently you need

some context, so....

i think old school prosthetic

limbs are cool looking(subjective]....

and they give me a weird

feeling when i see them...i'm

trying to acquire some for an

art project...............................

the mouth disease pictures

came up while i was looking

for prothetic images....

inspired by the swans........

and maybe throbbing gristle...

and probably jacob's ladder,

which i saw not more than

....i like the photos...........

haha....i should dip into my photo collection for you tesseract...

i've got a small collection of photos of dogs sitting in the drivers

seat of their owners parked cars..it looks like they are about to

drive off, and many of the dogs facial expressions in these

situations are pretty funny cuz of the context..

Haha brown,i'd really would want to take a look on those flicks.

I didnt post those for funs sake however, dogs are very interesting if you look at them as a mirror of man...The first animal that man managed to domesticate.I dont even concider dogs as animals anymore.

It has to do with my view on prosthetics...

BTW if you want them out off here i can edit the post

no no..keep 'em..post more if you want....

yea...dogs...i'd scan them...but...no scanner..

i think i understand your connection...you mean dogs as an

extension(prosthetic) for, say, blind persons?...

you could map that line of thought over tons of stuff in a way...

..the role of technology etc..

Thats the connection, blind people, lonely people, sheperds...etc people who use dogs for a reason.Dogs can be related to traffic, if you feel nice you are polite giving other cars priority, laughing instead of swearing. If you're feeling bad...well you know.

As done above i could map that line in a thousand ways, but i would be still talking about people, not dogs.

Dogs are interesting because they take part in human activities since ancient times. They recieve peoples feelings and they constantly learn how to react in order to be compatible.I strongly believe that in such a great period of time dog's dna has been altered.New instincts has been added.Things dogs already are aware of from their birth.

I dont want to sound like some Nazifuckedup doctor when i say that dogs are like mutated proshtetics to mans needs...but yes its a thought.

Yo Brownizzle, have you seen that web page of the woman who desperately wants to have her arms amputated so she can wear those hook prosthetics? It's fucking out of control, she's even got poetry and fiction devoted to exalting the specific model of forearm prosthetics she wants. If I find the URL I'll hook it up, it's seriously disturbing. Dope pics, by the way. Beer,

man o man. the other day i went to this huge warehouse. this place. man. this place. you'd love it. a huge scary warehouse that takes old us medical equipment and cleans it and ships it to mostly latin american countries to set up rural hospitals. i found some crazy shit there, and the entire time i was thinking about how i just wanted to take pictures of the place. among many of the strange things that i found was a room full of prosthetic limbs.
