Guest KING BLING
I still have my originals from that era and this is the fianl word... 1) Tribes hits from there albums are longer lasting - I left My Wallet in el Segndo, World Tour and Scenario can be played at a party and get genuine hype 2) BUUUUT, De Las albums are longer lasting over all, more so I think than tribe - No one thinks that the some what corny and dated lyrics of Tribe can compete with the truisms and humor De La always had. but the real question is - Herpes or Genital Warts? Reams
De La and Tribe are both pioneers De La still rocks shows all around the world on a regular basis though The Grind Date was a great album too. It featured a song called "No" featuring Butta Verses who is signed to Maseo (Plug 3) of De La's indy label Bear Mountain Entertainment Album should be coing out in Mid April. for more info on him you should check his myspace page http://www.myspace.com/buttaverses
