i am really thinking about relocating to another country, i am a Canadian Citizen through birthplace so i can move there without to many hassles in about 4 years time. that way i will be a fully qualified teacher, will have paid my bank loan back so they dont send assassins out looking for me, and then i will move so i never have to pay my student fees ever! fuck yeah!

i've been thinking about doing the same, i just don't see it being a practical move for me to make in the near future. canada seems like an option for me too.

move to vegas!

once you leave vegas, (and the surrounding towns) you're in the desert.

a cab driver also told me vegas has the highest suicide rate.

good thing i dont know how to gamble or i would be broke.

[/b]

yeah that's what sucks about that place. i watched some special about the growing economy of vegas, it seems like a good place to be in some respects. they said it had the fastest growing school system in the country, which means jobs for people like me who are gunning to be a teacher. shit, i would rahter do that than be a cop in ny!

you live humble as hell in ny compared to anywhere else in america, unless your very rich and have an actual apartment in places like times square. but nah, most of ny are on the poor side, but theres allot of culture and shit, its very wild and out of order and noisy, its great.

oh, my job in nyc, staten island living: mover

live with mother in an apartment complex

I work, hard.

And I love every inch of my home..

3rd Generation NYer

and we're choosy about outsiders..

we don't take kindly to the "I'm here because it's cool to be" type

NY is a world in itself..

and the world in itself...

that's all can say about that.

Damn.

Lecter, I think you're young but it seems you have a head on your shoulders.

ha my cuz got a shoebox in BK and splits the rent with. Its like 1000 each and they dont got no heat. I want to move to Oakland. It kinda sucks actually. Im beginning to realize that if i want to find work and be successful i probably will not be able to do it around here. Too many factory layoffs. Makes it hard for students and young people to find work too. Everybody that once had good manufacturing jobs and got laid off clog up the service sector

Tease, please dont ever come here.

I work, and live with 2 other people, we dont live in Manhattan....

isor, it seems like your boy is getting ripped off.... 2000 a month, no heat, in a small space?

They have to be in like.... BK Heights/Cobble Hill/Boerum Hill or something.... Or perhaps the "new LES" (aka: Williamsburg).
